Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of Donald Edward Flynn Sr. and the daughter of the late Charles Love and Margaret Love. Surviving Mrs. Flynn are a son, Dr. Patrick Flynn, of the home, a daughter, Laura Cheek, of Newnan, GA, and six grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Flynn was preceded in death by a brother, C.W. Love. Services for Mrs. Flynn will be private. BETTY SUE CARROLL Betty Sue "Susie" Carroll, 72, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 19, 2021. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Gerald and Louise Phillips Lee and was pre- ceded in death by a daugh- ter, Jennifer Lee Friday and four brothers, Christopher Eugene Brooks, Carol Lee, Max Lee, and Bud Lee. She is survived by her daughter: Debbie Gore Breland, Lynn Haven, FL; Son: Chris Gore, Kings Mountain, NC; and seven grandchildren. JERRY RAY DOVER Jerry Ray Dover, 84, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 21, 2021. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Jess and John Edith Crawford Dover and was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Jimmy, Jackie, Johnny, and Donald Dover and a sister, Joyce McIntyre; and a great grandchild. Mr. Dover served our country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bowen Dover, Kings Mountain, NC; Daughters: Teresa Patterson (Tim), Pam Whittington (Frankie), and Leslie Martin (Conrad), all of Kings Mountain, NC; Siblings: Charles Dover (Lisa), Gaffney, SC, and Midge White, Cherryville, NC; nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Mrs. Sellers was born on May 27, 1930 in Gaston County, a daughter of the late Monroe Hallman and Roberta Hayes Hallman. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Huss. Survivors include her husband, J. L. Sellers of the home; two daughters, Tresa Ratchford and Lisa Sellers; a son, Blenard Sellers; two sisters Sandra Childers (Charles) and Carol Cornwell (Paul); two grand- children; and one great grandson. LAMAR MAUNEY WILSON Mr. Lamar Mauney Wilson, age 87, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Born in Shelby, NC on November 29, 1933, Mr. Wilson was the son of the late Samuel Bright and Cleo Mauney Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Samuel B. Doc was born Wednesday, December 4, 1929 in Caroleen, NC to the late Archie Wyatt and Lucy Hammett Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara L. Wyatt; his daughter, Barbara Ann Vickers; a grandson; three brothers, William Wyatt, Ray "Squeaky" Wyatt and Earl Wyatt. He is survived by two sons, Michael Wyatt (Francine) of Millville, Utah, and Mark Wyatt of Ellenboro; a son- in-law, Rodger Vickers; and nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
