The Lady Chargers end- ed up losing out to Tell City 127-56 during this meet, with one first, six seconds and two thirds. In the girls' 200 -yard med- ley relay, the team of Mad- dy Riley, Izzy Luker, Emma McKinney and Jillian Bailey second, only missing out on first by ten seconds, and the team of Jackie Berry, Xavery Weisman, Alexis Oswalt and Addy Russell placed third. During the girls' 50 -yard free, Jillian Bailey, Lady Charger junior, missed out on first place by about one second, earning her second place in the event. Follow- ing her were sophomore Ad- dy Russell placing fourth and freshman Jackie Berry plac- ing fifth. Lady Charger junior Tes- sa Vinnedge placed second in one-meter diving, with a final score of 145.85, losing out on first to Lady Marksman Em- ilie Roll by 21.5 points. In the girls' 100 -yard fly, Charger freshman Alexis Os- walt took second place, with a time of 1:20.54, missing out on first by about ten sec- onds. Following her was Mor- gan Sallee, Lady Charger se- nior, placing fifth, with a time of 1:51.59. During the girls' 200 -yard free relay, Berry, Russell Os- walt and Luker took second, with a time of 2:05.02, miss- ing first place by ten seconds; while Kelsea Query, Lexie Onyett, Ella Adams and Gab- by Collins placed fourth, with a time of 2:19.48. Lady Charger Bailey took first place against six com- petitors in the girls' 100 -yard backstroke, with a time of 1:09.12. Following her were Riley placing fourth and Ber- ry placing fifth. Senior Emma McKinney took home third place in the girls' 100 -yard breaststroke, losing out by less than a sec- ond to Lady Marksman An- na Armstrong. Following her in times were Luker placing fourth and Ella Adams plac- ing sixth. The last event of the night was the girls' 400 -yard free, and Riley, Weisman, McKin- ney and Bailey took second place in the event, with a time of 4:33.45. Following them in fourth place were Query, Sal- lee, Onyett and Sarah Fen- wick, with a time of 5:32.14. BOYS' SWIMMING The boys' swim team took Tell City head on and only lost to them by three points, 75 -78. They ended up taking six firsts, six seconds and two thirds at this meet. The first event was the 200 -yard medley relay, and they crushed it, taking first with a time of 1:59.74. Charger swimmers in this team were sophomore Wyatt Luff, junior Isaac Burdette, junior Draven Readle and sophomore Cobey McKinney. They did not stop there ei- ther, McKinney bulled in anoth- er first for the team directly after this event, in the boys' 200 -yard free, with a time of 2:29.51. In the following event, Readle and Luff took second and third in the next event for the boys' team in the 200 -yard IM. The boys' 50 -yard free was up next and the team seemed ready to take this one by storm. They hit the water and made the mad dash back and fourth. Burdette took second place, missing out on first by less than a second. Right be- hind him was freshman Gage Schmitt taking third and Car- ter Blackwell taking fifth. McKinney took first in the boys' 100 -yard free, with a time of 59.89, while Readle and Mann took first and sec- ond in the boys' 500 -yard free. The relay team of Burdette, Luff, McKinney and Rea- dle took second in the boys' 200 free relay, with a time of 1:48.24. Following this event, Luff took first in the boys' 100 -yard backstroke, with a time of 1:16.33, with Tyler De- Coursey right behind him in second, with a time of 1:23.09. In the next event, the 100 -yard breaststroke, Burdette took first with a time of 1:16.51, jumping ahead of the compe- tition by about seven seconds. The last event of the meet for the boys was the 400 -yard free relay. The team of De- Coursey, Xander Parker, Mann and Schmitt took sec- ond in the event, with a time of 4:54.75. the 100 -yard backstroke, with a time of 1:13.82; and McK- inney again in the 100 -yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:27.29.
