4 - GENERAL INFORMATION Residency A RESIDENT is any person who LIVES WITHIN THE CORPORATE CITY LIMITS of West Bend. This is not to be confused with a West Bend area school district resident. City and school district boundaries are not the same. A NON-RESIDENT is anyone who lives outside the City limits. Even if your mailing address is West Bend, this does not mean you are a corporate City resident. Most activities have different fees for residents and non-residents. The City of West Bend Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is supported by the residents of the City of West Bend through taxes. Non-residents pay their fair share through an additional surcharge established by the Park & Recreation Commission. Refund Policy Credit or refund will be made under the following conditions: 1. If the Department cancels the activity or is unable to fulfill your request, a full credit/refund will be made. 2. If you cancel prior to the start of an activity a $5.00 administrative fee will be charged. 3. Credit/refund will not be issued after an activity begins.
