Planting the rootS of Peace
For the past 2 decades, Roots of Peace has worked in Afghanistan to cultivate peace through
agriculture. We have planted over 6 million fruit trees in all 34 provinces benefiting one million
Afghan families. Furthermore, we have helped to increase agricultural exports from
$250 million in 2014 to over $1.4 billion by 2020.
