Becky was born Monday, July 22, 1968 in Rutherford County to the late Raymond Coffey, Jr. and Geneva Ramsey Coffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Dean Lawter. Born in Clarksville, TN, he was the widower of Gloria Peterson Phillips and the son of the late Jack Marvin Phillips Sr. and Ella Mae Martin Phillips. Mr. Phillips is survived by one son, Randy Phillips (Julie) of Blacksburg; one daughter, Wendy Woods (Charles "Woody") of Blacksburg; one sister, Mildred Martin; four grand- children; three step-grand- children, and two great- grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Baby Boy Phillips, his brother, Billy Phillips, and his sister, Judy Harris. Smith, age 88, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Fairhaven Home in Bostic. Stanley was born Thursday, October 6, 1932 in Polk County to the late Whitfield Smith and Ollie Harris Smith. He is survived by his wife, Lilliam C. Smith; two sons, Ronnie Dale Smith (Sherry) of Union Mills and Ricky Warren Smith of Shelby; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jerry Cabaniss, Alice Harmon, David Moss and wife Andrea, and Wayne Moss and wife Teresa, all of Shelby, NC; and six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Born August 20, 1929 in Cleveland County, NC, Nancy was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mamye (Gettys) Cabaniss and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Moss, a brother, Billy Cabaniss, and a sister, Joan Poteat. Willis Robbins, age 84, of Forest City, passed away September 18, 2021. Georgia was born February 23, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Vonzie Arvie Willis and Minervia Lucinda Turner Willis. In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Pauline Willis Moore, Irene Willis Lovelace and Hubert Arvie Willis; and a grandson and a great-grandson.
