Vogel earned her real estate license in 2010 after many years in a corporate
leadership role. Her advice for young professionals involves the three
Ds. "Drive, Determination, and Diligence," she said. "If you have that, you
can succeed at just about anything. There were many times I questioned
myself, but I never gave up; that's the key. Eventually it will all come
together, and you'll say to yourself 'I've got this.'"

Santo Valenti
Owner, Valenti's Ristorante
Valenti has been in the restaurant business 46 years, 35 years in Venice.
"We started our first restaurant in Harford, Conn.," he said, "I was in the
wine and spirits business in New York, then one day my wife saw an ad for
a restaurant for sale. We bought it and here we are today, still cooking and
loving what we do in the food and hospitality business."

Nella Valenti
Owner, Allegro Bistro
Valenti entered her profession 40 years ago because she loves to cook
and serve people. She cherishes the relationships she's built within her
restaurant. "It's so rewarding to do something for others and make them
