He was born on August 4, 1973 in Cleveland County to the late Charles Ramseur, Sr. and the late Linda Parrish Ramseur. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter. He is survived by his children, Veronica Stroud, La'Nique Stroud, Rakisha Stroud and Cedric Ramseur all of Shelby; two brothers, Calvin Ramseur and Charles Ramseur, Jr. (Kimberly) both of Shelby; one sister, Twyla Johnson (Mike) of Jacksonville, NC; and four grandchildren. The funeral service was held August 13, 2021 at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. Rodney was the son of the late Samuel Whitey Goins and Martha Raye Newton Goins and was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Goins, and a sister, Marilyn Goins.
