e Iron Cross put on the Goff grave site.
e grave of William M. Goff, our first settler,
can be found in the Lemon Bay Cemetery.
1900: Florence and John Hill donated 2½ acres of their
property to the Englewood area to be used for a
much-needed cemetery. e high-ridged area was already
being used as a burial field, the first grave being William
Goff 's 16-year-old daughter Jane.

was performed at the Goff gravesite by the Sons
of Confederate Veterans Group.
