SHANA SHENELE HOPPER Ms. Shana Shenele Hopper, 49, of Shelby, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. She was born on May 1, 1972 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Ollie Mae Ross and the late Robert Larry Hopper, III. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Craig Steve Ross; sister, Audrey Mae Hopper; and paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. She is survived by a son, ZACHARY AUSTIN ARTHUR LEE LITTLEJOHN Zachary Austin Arthur Lee Littlejohn, age 23, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was the son of Leroy Littlejohn and Sherrie Phillips Mitchell (Jeff). He was preceded in death by his great grandparents. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Alexis Littlejohn; fiancé, Ryan Gillie; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandmothers. A memorial service was held August 12, 2021 in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. with Reverend Chris Little offici- ating. SAM FINNEY Mr. Sam Finney, 66, of Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was born on February 27, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Thomas "Tommy" Finney and the late Hattie Mae Johnson Finney Ross (Darvin). In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Finney. He is survived by his wife, Linda "Lindt" Williamson Finney; his three children, Brandon Finney, LaTonya Finney, and LaSonya Finney all of Shelby, NC; four broth- ers, Willie James (Patricia) Finney, Henry Kenneth Finney, Thomas Finney, Jr., and Jeremiah Finney, all of Shelby, NC; two sisters, Lola (Michael) Surratt of Lawndale, NC, and Brenda (Danny) Roberts of Shelby, NC; including his inlaws the Williamson Family. The funeral service was held August 9, 2021 at Shoal Travis Surratt of Shelby; three brothers, David Hopper (Jeanette) of Gaffney, SC, Larry Hogue (Tina) and Robert Sutton (Roshawn) both of Shelby; two sisters, Robin Gullatte (John) of Shelby and Felicia Littlejohn (Lopez) of Spartanburg, SC; and five grandchildren. The funeral service was held August 7, 2021 at A Glimpse of the Kingdom. Burial took place at Sunset Cemetery. FRANK GARDNER Franklin "Frank" Gardner, 69, of Shelby, passed away Friday, August 7, 2021. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Louis and Joyce Lemons Gardner. He is survived by his wife, Becky Justice Gardner of the home; daughter, Emily Vanburen and husband, David; son, Andy Gardner and wife, Heather, both of Shelby; nine grandchildren; a great grandson; and his mother-in-law, Mary Smith of Shelby.
