Teresa is a strong advo- cate of continuing pro- fessional development for governance profes- sionals. She is a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow. She also complet- ed the Women's Director Development Program at Kellogg School of Management at North- western University. Teresa received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her AB from Harvard University. utive for Matsui Nursery, Inc. Before taking over as CEO in 2015, she was the chief financial officer. In addition to leading Matsui Nursery, Teresa heads the Matsui Foundation - a private foundation established by her parents to support the educational endeav- ors of the underserved students in the Salinas Valley and throughout Monterey County. Under her stewardship, the foundation has awarded $3.8 million in scholar- ships to local students enrolled in undergrad- uate, graduate, and vocational programs.
