No stranger to the Discovery Inc. brand, the couple and the me- dia company have paired up to give discovery+ viewers exclu- sive access to their new con- tent. With several shows mak- ing the jump to Magnolia (and new ones joining, too!), here are two of Magnolia's newest and most anticipated series, both available as of Thursday, July 15, on the streamer. "Art in Bloom with Helen Dealtry": Watercolor painter and textile designer Helen Dealtry makes her television hosting debut "Art in Bloom." A diversion from regular home renovation fare for which the Gaineses have become known, this series offers a fresh take on design and lifestyle improve- ment by delving into the art of studio-based painting. A trained artist since her uni- versity days in the U.K. (where she was born), Dealtry first ac- cepted a professional design job in New York City in 2000. Over the course of her career, she has become known pri- marily for her realistic, vivid and often three-dimensional paintings of flowers, some- thing viewers will likely be see- ing a lot of when Dealtry shows off her studio and cre- ative process in "Art in Bloom." "The Artisan's Kitchen": Next on the docket — or per- haps "menu" would be more fitting — is the new Bryan Ford-led series "The Artisan's Kitchen." Known for being a bit of a dough boy himself, Ford's breads are anything but the Pillsbury-brand products you may have grown up with. A proud Honduran, Ford has become somewhat of a bea- con to all the new-born bakers out there during the pandemic. By frequently posting tips and tricks for successful baking on his social media, in his monthly newsletter called "The Flaky Biscuit" and as an occasional guest on the David Cheng pod- cast "Recipe Club," Ford has helped several lockdown bak- ers to perfect their perfect sourdough starters.
