A graduate of West- ern Carolina Univer- sity, Gosey has worked as head coach of East Rutherford High School's varsity cross country and track teams and Coor- dinator of Isothermal Community College's Adult High School. Since 2014, he has served as an elected member of the Rutherford County Board of Education. Gov. Patrick McCrory appointed Gosey to the Southern Regional Edu- cation Board, and House Speaker Tim Moore named him to the Opioid Sentencing Reform Task Force. Gosey is currently a member of the Disci- plinary Hearing Commis- sion of the North Carolina State Bar.
