Set in 1950s Detroit, a team of small-time criminals is brought together for what is thought to be a simple mission to steal a document about emerging automotive technology. When the mission goes completely sideways, the group has to band together and move through the rapidly evolving, racially divided city to figure out ex - actly who hired them and what the real reason is for the job. Featuring an all-star cast including Don Chea- dle ("Iron Man 3," 2013), Benicio Del Toro ("Traffic," 2000), David Harbour ("Stranger Things"), Jon Hamm ("Mad Men"), Amy Seimetz ("Upstream Color," 2013), Brendan Fraser ("The Mummy," 1999), Kieran Culkin ("Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," 2010), Matt Damon ("The Bourne Identity," 2002), Noah Jupe ("Ford v Ferrari," 2019), Julia Fox ("Uncut Gems," 2019), Ray Liotta ("Goodfellas," 1990), Frankie Shaw ("SMILF") and Bill Duke ("Preda - tor," 1987), "No Sudden Move" blends the noir genre with modern- day heist action. WHAT'S NEW ON DISNEY+ "Monsters at Work" - Season 1 Make room for more monsters in your closet, because the new children's comedy action series "Monsters at Work" is launching its debut season on Disney+ Friday, July 2. This spinoff of the Monsters, Inc. franchise is also a direct se- quel to the 2001 children's classic "Monsters, Inc.," taking place six months after the events of the film. Lovable monsters Sulley, voiced by John Goodman ("Roseanne"), and Mike Wazowski, voiced by Billy Crystal ("When Harry Met Sally...," 1989), return as the bosses while the city of Monstropolis transitions from using children's screams to using children's laughs for fuel — laughter turned out to be a much more effective source of power. The series also features a host of new monsters as they overturn the com- pany's system and get into some wacky adventures along the way. Bonnie Hunt ("Jumanji," 1995), Mindy Kaling ("The Mindy Proj- ect"), Lucas Neff ("Big Hero 6: The Series"), Henry Winkler ("Arrested Development") and Ben Feldman ("Superstore") also voice star in the series. Created and co-written by Roberts Gannaway ("The Em- peror's New School"), Pete Docter, who was also on the writing team for the original "Monsters, Inc" in 2001, serves as Gannaway's writ- ing partner.
