Community Park Bridge Avenue This park has two softball fields and a full length soccer field. There is a playground, concession stand, and bathrooms. The walking path around the perimeter is 1/3 of a mile, and there is also a nature trail in the wooded area. Movie nights and special events during the spring, summer, and fall. Heritage Park Howe Street Located at the base of the Lovelandtown Bridge, this park offers basketball, a picnic area, and playground. Maxson Avenue Beach Maxson Avenue A municipal beach on the Manasquan River offering a swimming beach, playground, fishing pier, and handicapped accessible walkway. Restrooms available when the lifeguards are on duty. Admission required during the beach season. River Avenue Beach River Avenue A municipal beach on the Manasquan River offering a large swimming area, playground, and picnic area. Restrooms available when the lifeguards are on duty. Admission required during the beach season. Riverfront Park River Road Located on the Manasquan River where the Point Pleasant Hospital once stood and attached to the Maxson Avenue Municipal Beach, this park offers a pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills, a large playground, walking pier, bocce court, and an open area for everyone's enjoyment. This park has a beach area that can be used for fishing or crabbing. Swimming not permitted. BAY HEAD Centennial Park Harding Avenue (behind the Borough Hall) Bordering the Scow Ditch waterway, this park offers walking paths and a playground. Twilight Lake Between Lake and West Lake Avenue POINT PLEASANT BEACH Gull Island County Park And Conservation Area 419 Broadway, 1-877-OC PARKS or (732) 506-9090 www.oceancountyparks.org This diminutive park, situated along the busy waters of the Manasquan River, is directly across from the 48-acre conservation area and is wonderful location for bird watching, a picnic lunch, or fishing. Handicapped accessible. Green Acres Park Arnold Avenue and Route 35 Features Little League fields and a gazebo. Lake Louise Between Broadway, Niblick Street, Randall Avenue, and Baltimore Avenue Lake Of The Lillies Between Ocean, Elizabeth, Newark, and St. Louis Avenues Little Silver Lake Arnold Avenue, between Ocean and Baltimore Avenues Loughran Point Park Inlet Drive Activities include fishing, crabbing, and children's play area. This park also features a Fisherman's Memorial to honor those who were lost at sea. Pleasure Park Between Trenton, St. Louis, and Forman Avenues Located next to St. Peter Church and School, this park offers a playground and tennis courts. POINT PLEASANT Beaver Dam Creek County Park 3430 Bridge Avenue, 1-877-OC PARKS This expertly groomed 40-acre park has something for everyone. Take a leisurely stroll along Beaver Dam Creek's boardwalk through tidal wetlands, seemingly miles from civilization. Enjoy a picnic under the pavilion while the kids cavort on one of two playgrounds. Or, engage in your favorite sport on 6 acres of playing fields.
