There will be displays ranging from design/build firms to specialized contractors for all areas of the home. The spring remodeling home show many have been waiting for For the past year, calls have been pouring in to NARI Mil- waukee members. Families who've been spending signif- icantly more time at home and in their yards are look- ing to make changes. They're asking for updated kitchens with a better work- flow, improved bathrooms that can accommodate more usage, finished basements with home offices and rec areas, a backyard patio for entertaining and everything else in between. The NARI Milwaukee Spring Home Improvement Show is the place to find qualified professionals who can do the job right. The 59th annual event will be held May 21-23 at State Fair Park in the Wisconsin Exposition Center, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. The show includes more than 200 NARI Milwaukee members. "We're excited to connect homeowners who are eager to get their home improve- ments underway with local contractors," said Diane Wel- house, executive director of NARI Milwaukee. Special guests include: ■ Mad Dog & Merrill — The "grilling buddies" take to the Culinary Stage several times each day, sharing tasty new grilling recipes and a presentation that will have you laughing to the dinner table. ■ Guess the Price Gameshow — Want to know what a remodel costs? Par- ticipate in a live, interactive game show where attendees view award-winning remod- eling projects and guess the price, various times May 21- 23. ■ Melinda Myers — "The Plant Doctor" shares her secrets, May 21-23, 2 p.m. each day. ■ Panel Discussion with Scott Cline, J & B Con- struction Company, and other industry experts — Educate and protect yourself with knowledge by attending "What You Need to Know about Warranties and Certi- fications," May 21, 12:45 p.m. ■ Louis Weiher, Carmel Builders — Get yourself ready by attending "What to do Before Starting a Remod- el," May 21, 3 p.m. ■ Bartelt. The Remodel- ing Resource — Learn about "Options for Wall Treatments," May 22, noon. ■ Panel Discussion with Maretes Hein, COR Improvements, and Randy Miller, Allrite Home & Remodeling — Learn about "Remodeling Now, What You Need to Know about Time- lines, Supplies and More." ■ John Nehmey, Nehmey Construction, and Ed Lisinski, City of West Allis — Participate in an interac- tive Q&A with an experi- enced remodeler and a city building inspector, "What's Your Remodeling Ques- tion?," May 22, 3:30 p.m. ■ Paulette Sodemann and Christopher Witt- mann, Callen Construc- tion — Learn how to turn your home into your dream space by attending "Remod- eling to Make the Most of Your Home," May 23, noon.
