4 Dear Friends, As Vivalon's new CEO, it is my great honor to bring you the 2021 edition of our Directory of Older Adult Services. When our 2020 edition published last March, we had just entered a shelter in place directive. At that time, we were grateful to be able to send the Directory to the homes of over 30,000 Marin residents who might benefit f rom its content. Little could we have imagined that one year later, we would still be living through the COVID-19 pandemic. Watching our community come together during this difficult year has been inspiring. We witnessed the selfless acts of countless volunteers, neighbors helping neighbors, and organizations coming together to bring not only services, but also connection, hope and care to members of our community who needed some extra support. Our goal at Vivalon is to help the individuals we ser ve thrive through the power of connection. This Directory is one of the ways we strive to create that sense of connection and community, and we hope you f ind the resources within its pages to be useful and informative.
