"My father was a huge supporter of the library and it is a wonderful resource for the community," said Nagos. "The new Tehama County Center is also a welcome addition to the town as it provides local residents easy access to a range of government services. I'm proud that these services are here," said Nagos, who owns the center with his siblings Vicki Nagos Shadd, Tim Nagos, and Pat Berger. Tom Nagos is also pleased that Jack's Restaurant and Abby's Bakery set up shop in Los Molinos. Nagos sees a lot of similarities with his family and the families who own the restaurant and bakery. "My grandparents were immigrants and my father was a first generation American. The restaurant and shopping center were an investment in the community they were committed to call home ," said Nagos. Nagos believes Jack's Restaurant owners, brothers Alex and Daniel Rivera, and Abbby's Bakery owners Israel and Mayra Madrigal have the same work ethic and dedication to family and community that defined his family's legacy. Nagos understands the Riveras and the Madrigals aren't just operating a business; they are setting roots for their families, just like his parents did when they established NB Café over 70 years ago. Find the Los Molinos Shopping Center on Facebook for more historic photos.
