4 Corning 2021 Welcome to Corning, enjoy the quiet rural life style and friendliness of the citizens. It is a great city to visit or call home. With our ideal location in the center of the north valley along I-5 you are just a short drive from the many activities the north state provides. But the reason that you would come to Corning is the rural setting of a small town where you can get to know the people and enjoy the more relaxed way of life. You will have a chance to take part in the decisions that are made, because you will know and be able to talk to the local leaders. We have top rated police and fire departments that are very active in the community and our schools offer great academic and athletic opportunities for all students. The newer 18 acre Corning Community Park hosts the best skateboard and bike park in Northern California. Corning has week long celebrations each year, Corning Jr. Rodeo (May), Olive Festival (October) and Hometown Christmas (December) that bring both the locals and visitors to the downtown area for a fun time. Corning has a very rich and colorful history, with the olive industry that just continues to grow with the city. It is this history, a well planned future and our location that make Corning the best place to live and visit in the north state. So I invite you to come and enjoy Corning.
