Now, for the first time ever in color, we will be able to catch the lions in their nighttime routine, but we suspect they will not be sleep- ing much. Tune in to Apple TV+ on Friday, Dec. 4, for the world premiere of "Earth at Night in Color." While there are countless docuseries and films chroni- cling the mating, hunting and living habits of wildlife around the world, this new Apple se- ries is unique in that it uses next-generation camera equip- ment to capture the nocturnal practices of various beautiful creatures in full color (rather than the grainy darkness of night vision technology) for the first time in history. From the Arctic Circle to the African plains and across six conti- nents, follow along as Tom Hid- dleston ("Thor," 2011) nar- rates the stunning footage fea- turing never-before-seen be- haviors throughout all six epi- sodes of the series. The "Earth at Night in Col- or" natural history documen- tary series was made possible thanks to the U.K.'s Offspring Films production company and the hard work of a tal- ented film team led by execu- tive producers Alex William- son ("Animals at Play") and Isla Robertson ("Natural World"), and "Shark Island" researcher Sam Hodgson as producer.
