Hugh Laurie ("House") returns to television as charismatic but cor-
rupt politician Peter Laurence in the miniseries "Roadkill," premiering
on PBS's "Masterpiece Mystery," Sunday, Nov. 1. The four-part pro-
duction also stars Helen McCrory ("Peaky Blinders") as Prime Minister
Dawn Ellison, Saskia Reeves ("Close My Eyes," 1991) as his wife,
Helen, and Sidse Babbett Knudsen ("Westworld") as his mistress,
Madeleine.
