Born in Rutherford County, NC on April 29, 1933 a daugh- ter of the late Cullen Franklin Morrison and Bertha Lura Smith Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert T. Panther; two sisters, Ethel Howell and Emaleen Mauney; and three brothers, James, Ben and Gene Morrison. Survivors include two daughters, Annette Beaver and husband Carroll of Lawndale; Kathy Rosser of Shelby; three grandchildren, Dillon Beaver and wife Brandi; Victoria Queen and husband Jeremy and Jeremiah Price; five great grandchildren Dylan Beaver, Peyton Beaver, Piper Queen, Karsen Queen and Kendyl Queen; and five sis- ters Faye Deviney, Daphine Mistrot, Ruby Morrison, Doris Sparks and Phyllis Morrison all of Lawndale. HARVETTA HOWELL FULLER Mrs. Harvetta Howell Fuller, 73, of Shelby, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born on February 17, 1947 in Lincoln County, NC to the late Ella Moore and the late Van Roberts. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Timothy C. Howell; her brother, Larry Moore; sister, Joyce Harris; stepdaughter, Dana Fuller; and her in-laws, Buford Howell, Theresa Fuller, Betty Young, Hazel Belcher, Waymon Fuller, and Von Fuller. ALAN CLYDE KEEVER Alan Clyde Keever, age 44, passed away on October 3, 2020, Born in Greensboro, NC on September 16 1976, he was the son of David Keith Keever and wife Jane Mode Keever of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfa- ther. In addition to his parents, Alan is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Summer Kasel Keever of Shelby; his daugh- ter Georgianna Connell of Central, SC; one son, Oliver Alan Keever of the home; one brother, Brian Keever (Myla) of Shelby and their son Jaxon Keever; and his maternal grandmother. IDA MAE HARRILL BYRD Ms. Ida Mae Harrill Byrd, 94, of Shelby, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Huntersville Oaks in Huntersville, NC. She was born on April 8, 1926 in Cleveland County, NC to the late James Harrill and the late Annie Mae Thomas Harrill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James N. Byrd, Sr.; son, James N. Byrd, Jr. and her sister Drucilla H. Favors. She is survived by her son, Dwight Byrd, Sr. and daughter, Iva B. Wilson both of Shelby; her sister, Geneva Gaddis of Shelby and brother, Jimmy Harrill of Boca Rotan, Florida; daugh- ter-in-law, Linda Byrd of Shelby; nine grandchildren, Alisa Petty (K.P.), Dwight Byrd, Jr. (Keisha), Reginald Byrd, Neil Byrd, Chrystal Hopper (Colonel), Levon Terrill, Jr, (Melissa), Julian Byrd (Laura), Ruby Harvin (Roosevelt) and Cody Jones (Nicole); nineteen great- grandchildren; and six great- great grandchildren. MARY ADDISON CUNNINGHAM Ms. Mary Addison Cunningham, 83, of Shelby, NC passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Huntersville Oaks in Huntersville, NC. She was born on December 21, 1936 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Will Kilgo Addison and the late Marjorie Bines Addison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Cunningham; six brothers, Jim Addison, Kilgore Addison, Willie Louis Addison, James "J D" Addison, Maurice Addison, Thomas Addison, and one sister Martha Addison Lawson. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her sons Jackie Cunningham (Debra) of Shelby, and Harold Curtis Cunningham, of Dayton, Ohio two brothers Fred Addison, of Dayton, Ohio and Dock Addison (Saundra) of Shelby, sister-in-law, Inez Addison of Arlington VA, brother-in-law Henry Lawton; grandchildren, Shannon Cunningham (care- giver), Jay Cunningham, Iris Hamilton (Rufus), all of Shelby, Eva Brewton of Gaffney, SC, Lee Shell Cunningham of Shelby, and Tiffany Cunningham of Dayton, Ohio; ten great grandchildren, one great great grandson. The memorial service for Ms. Cunningham was private. LEE HOMER "HOOT" PARKER Lee Homer "Hoot" Parker, 80, of Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 5, 2020 at his residence. Born in Blacksburg, he was the husband of Carolyn Hamrick Parker and son of the late William Forrest Parker and Corrie Bratton Parker. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Angie Cooper (Danny) of Shelby, NC, Lorieann Byars (Scott) and Dana Weaver (Chris), both of Blacksburg; a brother, Forrest "Junior" Parker (Gerry) of Kings Mountain, NC; a sister, Betty Harrington of Gaffney; three sisters-in-law, Frances Parker, Diane Parker, both of Blacksburg, and Diana Rollins of Shelby, NC; four grandchil- dren, Ethan Cooper (Hailey), Ben Cooper (fiancé, Madison), Corrie Rindone (Kevin) and Drake Byars; four great-grand- children, Delaney Cooper, Wren Cooper, Millie Jane Cooper and Finleigh Marie Rindone; and one expected great-grandchild. WANDA ALLEN Wanda Allen, 88, of Lawndale was welcomed into the presence of her Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2020 fol- lowing an extended battle with dementia. Wanda was welcomed into the world on May 14, 1932 in Middletown, OH by her parents, John Carl Trent and Thelma Louise Fordyce Trent. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emory Allen; her parents and three of her siblings: elder sister, Jean Trent McFarland and younger brothers Carl and Jim Trent.
