He was born January 28, 1957, in Anderson, to Frank and Velta Lorraine (Miller) Lancing, both of whom pre- cede him in death. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and had worked as a carpenter. He is survived by his daugh- ter, April Wolverton, of Glezen; and grandchildren, Aidyn, Li- la, Tyler and Izzy Wolverton. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 12 years, Samantha (Rouse) Lancing, in 2015. Private services will be held at a later date. O.D.
