Coach Jacob Western said, "extra time was needed today with conference opponent Princeton after the game was still 0 -0 through 80 minutes." "Defensively, we had a re- ally solid effort lead by Xavi- er Shoultz, Hunter Capehart, Reece Ashley and Chase Rid- ao. Peyton Howald had eight saves in the shutout." Chargers defeat Boonville 3-0 on senior night Pike Central varsity soccer coach Jacob Western report- ed "a big conference win on senior recognition night" on the home pitch against Boon- ville last Thursday. "A big congrats to the four seniors: Reece Ashley, Garrett Boyd, Hunter Capehart and Connor Young. All four played a huge part in the win tonight." Chuck Young, Devin Carl- isle and Joey Ridao scored the three goals for the club and assists were made by Young and Ridao. Peyton Howald had four saves for the team in the 3-0 shutout. The boys took the early lead in the Pocket Athletic Con- ference clash and added two scores in the second half to complete the win.
