PISGAH G.B. CHURCH 6100 S. Augusta Broadway Street Winslow Pastor 812-582-0756 Sunday morning worship at 10 :15 a.m.; children's Sunday school during morning wor- ship; Crossfire for the youth at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening. We are having services, but we are practicing social dis- tancing. "We are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ" (I John 5:20). In His Steps By Charles M. Sheldon This tells of a challenge giv- en to a pastor to his people to Baptist group will meet in the Fam- ily Life Center Wednesdays from 6:30 -8 p.m. Lunch with the pastor from noon-1 p.m., Tuesday and Fridays, after Labor Day, will be on Facebook. Join us live on Facebook for all services. Michael Miller, Pastor pledge for one year not to do something without asking the question: "What would Je- sus do? " This challenge was kindled when a shabby man, mourning his wife who had died in poverty, stumbled into a wealthy church and addressed the congregation. He said, "I heard some people singing at a church prayer meeting the oth- er night: All for Jesus! All for Je- sus!/All my beings ransomed powers/ All my thoughts and words and doings? All my days and all my hours." I kept won- dering as I sat on the steps out- side just what they meant by it. It seems to me there's an aw- ful lot of trouble in the world that somehow wouldn't exist if all the people who sing such songs went and lived them out. If at any time you have no church to attend, your pres- ence will be greatly appreciat- ed and I am sure you will leave feeling blessed. Because of your great compas- sion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt, purify me from my sin" (Psalm 51:1-2, NLT). Having the ability to re- pent for our sins is one of the greatest gifts we as Christians have. This gift was given to us through Jesus, who died for us so that we may have the abil- ity to humbly ask for forgive- ness and to be forgiven. This does not mean that we can go on sinning with the knowledge that we can just be forgiven. We have to whole-heartedly try to walk the straight and narrow, and do what God has planed for our lives. Howev- er, God understands we have all fall short of his glory, and he has given us mercy and his grace to help us through. Re- member, God loves you and asks that you repent for your sins even if they feel that they are unforgivable at times. God is there to forgive. Just talk to him. God bless you and keep you. We welcome you to all ser- vices. Come and worship Je- sus with us. See our Facebook page Glezen Revival Center. Web- site: grcenter.net – E-mail ad- dress: glezenrevivalcenter@ yahoo.com. "Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have re- ceived mercy, we do not lose heart" (II Corinthians 4:1). Many times we may begin to feel discouraged with the lack of results we've seen or experienced in the ministry we've been called to do by our Lord. This verse encourages us to shake off those feelings and keep working. The mercy we have received is the proof that Christ is real and the Holy Spirit is at work. His timing is perfect and it will be worth the wait. He works in unexpect- ed ways, which is why they are called miracles. He never gave up on us, so why are we so willing to give up on others so quickly?
