This week, they are celebrating 4-H youth and their accomplishments. There are four se- niors that have accomplished 10 years of participating in Pike County 4-H. Pike County 4-H congratulates these 10 -year member seniors on their many ac- complishments. Seniors complete 10 years with 4-H Brandon Goeppner is the son of Jason and Beth Goeppner, of Sten- dal. He is enrolled in Purdue Uni- versity for Electrical Engineering. He says 4-H has taught him sev- eral skills, such as leadership. He also attended 4-H camps, which helped him choose his career. Quinton Sorgius is the son of BJ and Heather Sorgius, of Otwell. He plans to attend Ball State next year. Brianna Boren, daughter of Jay and Danielle Boren, of Petersburg. She plans to attend Ivy Tech col- lege for early childhood education to become a teacher. She says 4- H prepared her for the future by teaching her responsibility and re- spect. Brayden Furman is the son of Joe and Adrienne Furman, of Pe- tersburg. He plans to join the Na- tional Guard and work on his fam- ily farm. Brayden says 4-H helped him learn to communicate better with others and become more out- going.
