Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Spake Towery. Mrs. Griffin loved Bingo! She previously worked in textiles, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Shelby. Surviving Mrs. Griffin are two sons, David Andrew "Andy" Griffin of Boiling Springs, NC and Marvin Ray Franklin Griffin and wife, Nikki, of Gaffney; a daughter, Joyce Walker and husband, Paul, of Blacksburg; a sister, Frances Randall, of Shelby; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and two broth- ers, Michael and Stanley "Pete" Spake. Graveside services were held June 29th, 2020, in the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, 3038 Dravo Rd Shelby, NC 28152, with Dr. Barry Goodman officiating. ALAN MICHAEL HUMPHRIES Kings Mountain - Alan Michael Humphries, 30, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, June 19, 2020. He is prede- ceased by his grandfather, Bill Warren. Alan Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Aldon Humphries; father, Michael Humphries; mother, Robin Adkins; step- mother, Valerie Humphries; step-father, Ronald Adkins; sister, Kelli Humphries; MANDI LEIGH CANNON Mandi Leigh Cannon, age 38, passed away at her resi- dence peacefully on June 25, 2020. STEVEN CRAIG REYNOLDS Blacksburg, Steven Craig Reynolds, 60, of 434 Batchelor Drive, passed away Saturday, June 27th, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born in Shelby, he was the husband of Mary Bullocks Reynolds and the son of Jack Reynolds and the late Shirley Jones Walker. Mr. Reynolds worked for the Cherokee County sanitation department. In addition to his wife, Mr. Reynolds is survived by one son, Steven Reynolds Jr., and wife, Heather, of Taylors; one daughter, Jessica Reynolds Moriarty and husband, Sean, of California; one brother, Ronnie Reynolds and wife, Phyllis, of Greer; one sis- ter, Lisa Reynolds Henson and her husband, Chris, of Inman; and three grand- children, Peyton Brianna Reynolds, J. D. Cobb, and Tyler Cobb. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Reynolds. Funeral services were held July 1st, 2020, at 4:00 pm, at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev.
