ASPARAGUS SALAD Margaret Wilson 2 cups Ritz crackers, crumbled 1 stick margarine, melted 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated 2 can cream of mushroom soup 2 large cans asparagus Mix cheese and cracker crumbs. Add enough liq- uid from asparagus to the soup to make 2 cups. Put layer of cheese and cracker crumbs in bottom of but- tered casserole dish. Add layer of asparagus, then soup mixture and melted margarine, layer of cheese and c racker crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE Barbara Fulton Maxine Bennett 1 (16 oz.) can French green beans, drained 1 (16 oz) can shoe peg corn, drained ¼ cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped green pepper ¼ cup chopped celery 1 can celery soup 1 cut sharp grated cheese Small carton sour cream TOPPING ½ cup slivered almonds 1 cup tidbit cheese crackers, crumbled ½ stick butter Combine the beans, corn, onion, green pepper, cel- ery soup, cheese and sour cream and place in greased casserole dish. Combine the almonds, c rackers and margarine and spread on top of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min- utes. PEA CASSEROLE Myrtle Christenson 1 (16oz.) can English peas, drained 1 can mushroom soup 1 small onion, chopped Sleeve of cracker crumbs Margarine Combine peas, soup and onion. Place in Pyrex dish. Cover with cracker crumbs. Dot with marga- rine. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. EASY CHERRY DUMP CAKE Brenda Self 2 cans cherry pie filling 1 can crushed pineapple 1 box Duncan Hines Butter cake mix 2 stick butter, melted Pour cherries in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Pour in crushed pineapple that you have drained ½ juice. Then spread dry cake mix over pineapple and pour melted butter over cake mix Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
