The momentum is building with each month's issue! I am very gratified at the warm welcome Diversity Rules has received since its return to print in March. It is an honor to welcome Tonia "Tonie" Snell as the feature cover interview. Tonie is no stranger to hard work and she epitomizes the foundation of overcoming obstacles, no matter the size! Her tenacious personality coupled with her ability to achieve and think outside the box led her on a path of becoming an entrepreneur and setting new trends in the LGBT community. She is currently the CEO of 925HIRE, a full service staffing firm dedicated to an equitable workplace. 925HIRE is a provider of skilled professional and diversity training expertise throughout the US. This month's issue has some new features that I am excited about. Diversity Rules welcomes Soul Dancer and a review of his book, "Pay Me What I'm Worth" and LeNair Xavier debuts his poetic skills with "Seeing Me Before I." This month's issue also contains an insightful article on queer adolescents and their needs, and what is impactng them. I would also like to welcome Susan Thomas, who has taken over the inQUEERies column from Milton Wendland. The inQUEERies column will be as insightful and informative and written from a lesbian perspective. Many thanks to Fran Kramer, Kathy Ballantine and Lauren Hering for providing pictures for the NY, NY travel article by Robert Saldaini. I hope you enjoy this month's issue. As always I enourage you to consider subscribing and advertising to support the mission of Diversity Rules. Peace and health!
