Telehealth (Video) Appointments—All routine and regularly scheduled appointments are now primarily handled by video visits on a tablet, smart phone, or computer. In-Person Appointments—For those who need to be seen in person we have many new procedures in place to keep you safe: • Enhanced cleaning of all high-touch surfaces (door handles, armchairs, counters, etc.) • Scheduling that allows for more time between patients • Masks provided for all staff members and patients • Social distancing accomodations at registration and work areas • Patient screening for COVID-19 symptoms before visits and again upon arrival Suspected COVID-19 Patients—Our Adult Acute Care Clinic in Novato is designated for patients with non-emergent COVID-19 symptoms. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, call 1-628-336-5205 to speak to a nurse. If you are a patient of MarinHealth Medical Network, call your provider for an appointment. If you need a doctor, call 1-888-MarinHC (1-888-627-4642). Our primary and specialty care offices are open— with special precautions to ensure your safety. There's a lot of attention focused on COVID-19 right now, but other illnesses and injuries don't take time off during a pandemic. We want to assure you that it's safe to seek care for any ongoing or new health issues at our MarinHealth SM Medical Network offices. We have rigorous safety protocols in place to protect our patients, caregivers, and community. 24 June 7, 2020 Senior Living A Marketing Supplement of the Marin Independent Journal | marinij.com
