The Small Business Center (SBC) at Cleveland Community College (CCC) is now offering eight free seminars this summer on Thursdays from 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. "Depending on the Covid-19 situation, the sessions may be held in person at the LeGrand Center in Shelby or online using the Zoom platform," says SBC Director Steve Padgett. "One of the most important tools an entrepreneur or small business owner can have is a business plan," says Padgett. "The business plan seminar teaches you the important components of a business plan and helps you lay the foundation for a winning plan. Participants will find out how marketing, operations and finance are interrelated." This seminar will also allow partici- pants to discover how a business plan is used by potential lenders. "This very practical session covers the dos and don'ts of writing a business plan and steps for making the process easy," says Padgett. SBC seminars are free, but preregistra- tion is required. Visit the SBC website at www.clevelandcc.edu/for-entrepreneurs to register for one or all of these upcom- ing sessions.
