Page 22 Welcome to the May issue of Di- versity Rules Magazine. The year, as usual, is flying by. It is doing so in the context of Covid-19 which has changed the world as we know it, and will be the case for the foreseeable future. We are living in a very tumultu- ous me due to the incompe- tence of someone pretending to be President, along with the impacts of a pandemic wreak- ing havoc on every country in the world. Combine the ineptness of the current administra on with the pandemic and we have a de- gree of chaos beyond any of our wildest imagina ons. A Demo- cra c hoax it was. Everything will be fine. It will all magically dis- appear. Well, we all know these pronouncements from the clown in the White House have proven to be false. Covid-19 has upended every es- tablished norm we have and has changed our lives incredibly, to the point where we are restrict- ed at home, businesses have closed, masks are being worn in public, and everyone is looking at those around them with a suspi- cious eye, wondering if they have "it." This chaos and uncertainty will con nue for the foreseeable future. There will not be any de- gree of normalcy returning to our lives un l an effec ve treatment and/or cure is developed. Un l then, we are the whim of this virulent virus. We, as humans, are not in control, no ma er how much we think we are. Many have been le behind in this pandemic, despite the gov- ernment's s mulus plan. Most Americans are ge ng a payment of 1200.00, hardly enough but at least it is something.
