On Friday the Governor issued a "Stay at Home" declaration for all of North Carolina that will go into effect
at 5 pm Monday, March 30th. The NCCA sent an affi rmation to DHHS and the Governor's offi ce as to the
importance of chiropractic as essential business earlier during the pandemic.
Chiropractors are physicians in North Carolina and as such are classified under healthcare offices
that are listed as essential in government orders that have been issued so far.
The NC BOCE has received confi rmation from the Governor's offi ce that chiropractic offi ces are
eligible to remain open while the "Stay at Home" Order is in place.
