Sail the bay Sausalito Yacht Club offers children 8 and up the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of sailing at Summer Sailing Camp. The focus is on independence, and instructors are trained to work with campers at different levels and make sure they're ready before allowing them to move on to new challenges. Co-ed camps are one- or two-week sessions, and beginners get an introduction to sailing and seamanship, with two campers to a boat and an instructor nearby. The student to instructor ratio is 5:1.
