Regner Park features picnic sites, kids fishing pond, labyrinth garden, sports fields, sport courts, tennis and pickleball courts, a swimming beach and splash pad, plus a large-venue entertainment complex and performance stage. Ridge Run Park encompasses more than 100 acres of serene hiking trails, ponds, creeks and rentable shelters for parties. Quaas Creek Park features walking trails along Milwaukee River and a softball complex home to numerous regional tournaments. Old Settlers Park in downtown West Bend hosts weekly free summer music concerts, and the Downtown Riverwalk has been newly renovated. Rolfs Park is popular among dog owners, with two separate off-leash runs at one location. A large sculpture installation alongside hiking trails, a permanent 18-hole disc golf course, plus sport fields and courts can be found at Riverside Park, and sportsmen will love our free multi-platform outdoor archery range. The Lac Lawrann Conservancy has miles of wooded trails, ponds, a nature center as well as one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area. http://laclawrann.org, www.ci.west-bend.wi.us/Parks-Recreation-Forestry Jackson Village Parks & Recreation Department The Jackson Parks & Recreation Department boosts over 6 park areas which include amenities such as: Splash Park, Wheel Park, Disc Golf Course, Multiple Playground Structures, Trails, Ball Fields, Soccer Fields, Sand Volleyball Courts, Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts and Park Shelters. In addition, the community treasure is the 26,000 sq. ft. Jackson Area Community Center equipped with gymnasium, early childhood wing, dance studio, art studio, computer lab, games room, meeting rooms, teen center, catering kitchen, gathering hall and fitness center. The center is run with many partnering agencies such as the Washington County Aging and Disability Resource Center, The Washington County Boys & Girls Club, West Bend School District and Kettlebrook Church. The mission of the Jackson Parks & Recreation Department is to "Offer Quality of Life Opportunities for All Ages and Abilities at an Affordable Cost." "We promote the Jackson Community through People, Parks and Programs!" jacksonparkrec.recdesk.com Hartford Park & Recreation Department The Hartford Parks & Recreation Department provides extensive outdoor and indoor recreation opportunities. The park system has a mix of active areas and passive sites located throughout the community. The active park areas include lighted tennis/basketball courts, playgrounds, horseshoe courts, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, skate park, BMX track, 9-hole disc golf, fenced in dog park and fishing opportunities along the river and millpond. The Rubicon River paved trail system passes through the center of the community connecting many of the community parks along this river corridor trail. The new outdoor Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center opened in 2016 and is the largest outdoor waterpark in the county and features a lazy river, zero-depth play area with water features, 50-meter competition pool, water basketball, floatable water walk, body slide, tube slide, and 1 & 3 meter diving boards. The indoor recreation opportunities are also abundant. The Hartford Recreation Center features the Signicast Family Aquatic Center, a fitness center that includes cardio and free weight room areas and a large indoor gymnasium. Multiple use trails for hiking, biking and cross country skiing, ADA accessible fishing pier and doggy beach. 32 site campground and day use area that includes a swimming beach and 2 picnic shelters you can reserve for your family or business event, plus an amphitheater that can be reserved for weddings, and social gatherings. Powder Hill elevation is 1350' with a 45 ft tower to climb which offers a view of 450 acre Pike Lake and Holy Hill. Germantown Parks Germantown Park & Recreation Department's mission is to enhance the quality of life for all residents of the community through the development and maintenance of park lands and facilities, as well as providing a wide variety of quality recreational programs and special events. The department manages 10 park areas totaling 400 acres including such amenities as: Sprayground, Disc Golf Course, Skatepark, Archery Range, Playground Areas, Trails, Ball Diamonds, Soccer Fields, Sledding Hills, Ice Skating Rinks, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Park Shelters, and the Germantown Senior Center. The department delivers a wide array of quality of life opportunities for all ages and abilities.
