Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1:30pm Lakeside Tea Society Presents "The Christmas Tree Ship" Rochelle Pennington is the guest speaker for the program. Pennington's verbal presentation focuses on many of the little-known facts surrounding the story, including the ship's mysterious disappearance, clues washed ashore in the decades following the vessel's demise, ghost ship sightings of the phantom schooner, and mysterious omens believed to have cursed the ship immediately before it set sail on its fi nal voyage on November 22, 1912. All Center members and guests are welcome to attend the Educational Tea's. The theme for refreshments is tea. Registration includes the speaker, a Christmas sweet & a hot tea; participants must register by Dec. 16, as space is limited. Cost is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for guests.
