Circle B Recreation, Hwy 60 & Hwy I, Cedarburg Saturday, Nov. 30, 11am 40th Annual Grafton Christmas Parade – Christmas in Oz Presented by US Bank. Parade starts at Hwy 60 & 6th Ave. South Shore Drill Team, a fan favorite, along with other area bands, will perform. Over 100 units participate. Watch for Santa to arrive at the end of the parade. Children can hand their letters to Jolly the Elf and her elf assistants, who will be accompanying Santa and his Sleigh. Saturday, Nov. 30-Wednesday, Jan. 1 Konzal's Crazy Christmas Light Show Lighting Ceremony: Nov. 30, 5pm. Show runs nightly: Sunday - Thursday: 4:30pm- 9:30pm; Friday & Saturday: 4:30pm-10pm; Christmas Eve: 4:30pm-11:30pm A holiday tradition continues! Come see as we light up the holidays with a Light Show featuring 80,000 LED lights dancing to some of your favorite Christmas songs. Watch the display from the comfort of your car as we broadcast the music. Watch for signs at the display for tune to information. In 2019 we need to raise $3,000 for Hunter whose wish is to go to Walt Disney World this winter. In 2018, we were able to raise over $3,500 and grant Isahia's wish to go on an Alaskan Fishing trip and over the past three years, Konzal's Crazy Christmas Light Show has raised over $7,200 for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. It will be an event that you do not want to miss. We will be serving hot chocolate and holiday cookies to our guests. Monday, Dec. 2, 5:30pm Cedarburg Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Family festivities begin at the Cedarburg Community Center at 5:30pm with Santa's arrival and the tree lighting at 7:00pm. Families will be treated to a Christmas concert, cookies, cider, hot chocolate, and lots of make-and-take crafts coordinated by area businesses. Secret Santa Workshop and Santa's Mailbox coordinated by the Cedarburg Junior Woman's Club. The tree lighting ceremony takes place on the lawn of City Hall, followed by a short indoor concert and welcome speech by Santa himself. Tuesday, Dec. 3 – Sunday, Jan. 19 Main Street Gallery's Blizzard of Art Located inside the Cedarburg Cultural Center and operated by the Cedarburg Artists' Guild, the Main Street Gallery features a vast array of original works by Artists' Guild members. Running alongside the "Little Show" for the holidays each year, the Blizzard of Art is the culmination of a great partnership between the Cedarburg Cultural Center and Cedarburg Artists Guild. The annual "Cash and Carry" exhibit extends out of the normal Main St Galley space and fi lls the Center's Corridor gallery with its largest yearly exhibit. Friday, Dec. 6, 6pm-9pm CCC First Fridays – Comfort Shag Rockin' a little something for everyone. "First Fridays" is presented on the fi rst Friday of the month inside the Cedarburg Cultural Center located at W62 N546 Washington Avenue. Now in its sixth season, First Fridays has become a gathering place for the community while providing a space to showcase upbeat music from emerging artists. Guests will be greeted to a singer songwriter performance at 6:00 pm followed by the featured band at 7:00 pm. First Fridays provides a kid's craft hour 6:00–7:00 pm. Other activities include a local handmade art show and monthly art exhibit. The lights go down and the party turns up as the headliner takes the stage and the Center's full cash bar and dance fl oor multiply the fun. $5 or Free for CCC Members and children under 5. Concordia University Wisconsin Chapel of Christ Triumphant, 12800 North Lake Shore Dr., Mequon Friday, Dec. 6 – Sunday, Jan. 19 The Little Show An annual favorite at the CCC, the Little Show features miniature art in all media and is always one of our most eagerly awaited exhibits. Expect a delightful mix of painting, ceramics, jewelry, photography and more from some of Wisconsin's top artists as patrons and artists alike visit and participate from many communities to see these "little gems" and purchase these "gift-sized" art pieces in all styles and media. Cedarburg Cultural Center, W62 N546 Washington Ave., Cedarburg Weekends, Friday, Dec. 6–Sunday, Dec. 15 "It's A Wonderful Life, A Live Radio Play" This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940's radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Saturday, Dec. 7 The Polar Express Children of all ages can climb aboard the Polar Express, which travels to Cedarburg, Grafton and Port Washington. The North Pole is the Cedarburg Community Gym this year, and includes caroling, cookie decorating, trolley rides, train display, letters to Santa, making of "reindeer food", photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a gift from Santa. Bring the family to see Santa and the wonders of his workshop! Ride decorated school buses from Port Washington and Grafton, or ride the Trolley in Cedarburg to this family event. Tickets must be purchased in advance. $6 per person, children 2 and younger free. Children in grades 5 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.
