HOME OCTOBER 2019 4 More than 100 exhibitors share advice, insight and inspiration Fall has arrived and so has the NARI Home & Remodeling Show. If you've been dealing with aggravations like drafty windows, unreliable plumbing, peeling paint or a cramped, outdated kitchen, visit the NARI show to talk one on one with qualified professionals who can improve your life and beautify your home. The NARI Home & Remodeling Show runs Oct. 18-20 at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park, 8200 W. Green- field Ave., West Allis. More than 100 NARI Milwaukee members will be exhibiting and on hand to answer questions, make recom- mendations and provide guidance, solu- tions and creative suggestions. Participating exhibitors run the gamut of remodeling and home improvement servic- es and products — from design/build firms to specialized contractors for all areas of the home, including roofing, gutters, win- dows, doors, HVAC, plumbing and more. The show will also feature a universally designed bathroom created by NARI Uni- versal Design Certified Professionals (UDCP) and outfitted with stylish Kohler ADA-compliant products supplied by Ger- hard's Kitchen and Bath Store in Whitefish Bay. Show highlights ■ Daily "Guess the Price Gameshow" — You could win a prize while learning how much local remodeling projects cost and what factors influence the cost. ■ Smart Home Gallery — A showcase of products designed to automate, simplify and enhance life at home. ■ Home Solutions Stage — Each day, area experts will address a variety of top- ics, including "Avoiding Winter Plumbing Disasters," "Must Haves to Stay in Your Home for Life," "What to Expect During a Remodel" and more. ■ Make & Take — Throughout the show, attendees can create a special décor item for the holidays with guidance from Farm- house Paint Bar & Hall. Make a small wood- en sign, mini canvas, mosaic ornament or a Christmas stocking (tickets sold separate- ly). ■ Drink Pink — To support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NARI Milwaukee and Saz's Hospitality Group are partnering to create a pink drink to raise funds for Team Phoenix, an Aurora Research Institute initiative and NARI Mil- waukee partner.
