The Mario Ghilotti Family Foundation is proud to pledge the
foundational support for the expansion of the North Bay Construction
Corps (NBCC) into Marin County. A project of Career Technical
Education (CTE) Foundation, the Sonoma County Office of Education
and the North Coast Builders Exchange, the NBCC is a 5-month
training program that introduces high school seniors to careers in
construction and the trades while earning college credit. Classes are
taught by industry leaders so that students get exposure to multiple
employers and a sampling of what its like to work in a variety of
trades. Expansion plans are already underway with The Marin County
Office of Education and Marin Builders Association to open up the
first Construction Corps class of students hosted by San Rafael City
Schools at Terra Linda High School in 2019.
