This year marks the 65th anniversary of Lifehouse. As we commemorate this
important milestone, six and a half decades of service, we remember the
determined mothers who founded our organization as well as the commitment
of our Board, staff, dedicated volunteers and supporters who make our work
possible today. The aspirations of those we serve to live a full life, then as now,
remain front and center to our mission.
To commemorate this significant milestone, we have launched the Lifehouse capital
campaign: Home for Life: Campaign for a Permanent Home for Lifehouse. A
building that will serve as headquarters will help control operating costs and provide
us with a permanent home from which to offer a lifetime of service. Lifehouse
continues to provide an array of services and support that facilitates a full life for
over 350 people with developmental disabilities in the Bay Area.
