The public is invited to this free event to meet the members and listen to an impromptu concert of music played on Native American style Flutes. The Flute Circle welcomes visitors to learn about the instrument and their group. Carolina's Flute Circle members will have handmade fl utes, music CD's and other items for sale. This will be an inspiring afternoon of relaxing music. The Flute Circle meets several times a year at Southern Arts Society in Kings Mountain. Their next scheduled meeting will be on Oc- tober 19th. Southern Arts Society (SASi) Gift Shop & Gallery is located at 301 N. Piedmont Avenue in the historic Southern Railway Depot, at the intersection of Piedmont and Battleground. SASi offers a gift shop, ongoing exhibits, pro- grams and classes in a variety of media for artists of all levels. Currently on Exhibit: "A FRESH LOOK" thru August 23.
