On behalf of the Marin Builders Association Board of Directors,
thank you for reading our 2018 Marin Home Annual Resource Guide.
We are confident you will find a combination of inspiration, ideas, and
professional resources to help make any upcoming home or business
project a success.
In 2018, we are celebrating serving our community and our industry
for 60 years. As you might imagine, since 1958 our organization has
changed and grown in many ways.
Today, we have over 500 members guided by an all-volunteer board of
directors of 22 dedicated, local, community-minded people.
Beginning this year, along with our partners the Marin Economic
Forum and the City of San Rafael, we are commencing our long-term
initiative to assess the customer experience for those navigating the
permit process. Our long-term goal is to help and simplify the process
for both contractors and homeowners across Marin County.
Over the next few years, we will be upgrading our operations including
our physical and online resources to best serve the needs of our
members, our industry, and our community.
In addition, this year our scholarship program will approach the
$1 million mark in scholarships awarded over the past three decades.
We are committed to the success of our members and our community.
