Tuesday through Saturday, June 4 through June 8 Cedarburg's Plein Air Painting Competition Where: Throughout Ozaukee County The plein air competition brings 150 artists to paint beautiful Ozaukee County Artists are invited to paint throughout the city and town of Cedarburg through Wednesday. This outdoor painting festival attracts artists from across the country to paint idyllic Cedarburg, making it the largest gathering of artists in Wisconsin. Plein air, a French term meaning "in open air," describes artworks painted outside with the subject directly in view instead of in the studio.
