The eight painting exhibit reflects the works of noted Dutch artists Marc Lamers, Johann Hermann Joseph Lamers, Anton Van der Salm, Henry Richard Van Dongen and Anton Van der Waart. The paintings are part of a 185-piece collection of fine artwork recently donated to the Luxembourg American Cultural Society by Luxembourgish art collector Jean Lanners of Palm Springs, California. The exhibit of 19th & 20th Century Dutch landscapes highlights the unique relationship between Holland and Luxembourg in that Holland ruled Luxembourg for years before it gained its independence in 1839. These fine pieces of artwork from the Cultural Society's Jean Lanners Collection will be on exhibit at the Luxembourg American Cultural Center through June 15. Admission to the cultural center is free for LACS members, $9 for nonmember adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.
