Karen Waldrup is an up-and-coming country artist out of Nashville and Dirty Grass Soul is a country/bluegrass band out of Cleveland County that has been making waves locally and regionally. Join us on Saturday, May 18th at 7PM for a historical grand opening at our state-of-the-art outdoor amphitheater. You don't want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime FREE event featuring great music, food trucks and more! POPS is located at 153 Park Square, formally known as Depot Street, in downtown Forest City, right off of Main Street. The total capacity for POPS is 2,000, and we expect a full house for the grand opening. Doors will open at 5:30PM so make sure you get there early because space is limited. There are three main entrances – the fountain on Mill Street, the ticket booth at Park Square and the pump house on Mill Street. There are several parking lots located right beside POPS and off of Main Street, and you can fi nd the parking diagram on our event page at townofforestcity.com. In the seatin g area, low chairs and blankets are allowed. Tobacco, smoking, vaping, pets, umbrellas, professional cameras, fl ash photography, recording equipment, laser pointers and weapons of any kind are prohibited. The concert is rain or shine. All bags and outside materials are subject to search. No outside food and beverages are allowed, but we will have a full concession stand featuring nachos, popcorn, candy, soda, beer and wine. We will also have several food trucks offering soul food, sandwiches, desserts and much more.
