Can Can:
• Fits nicely in a picnic basket
• Travels well in a to-go bag
• Provides a smaller portion
• Offers many varietals, even "bubbles"
• Is environmentally friendly
• Comes in various sizes
• Still can be poured into a glass if you prefer
Can Can't:
• Easily be sealed to drink later
• Offer a large majority of choices like bottles...yet
• Always be affordable when procuring a four
or six pack
• Taste as good as wine in the bottle,
according to the divas
The divas tasted about 20 different canned wines, and
overwhelmingly they found the reds to be more tolerable
than the whites, roses and sparklers. There were some
single serving boxed wines which fared about as well as
the non red cans. When the cans were undressed, Un-
derwood Pinot Noir from Oregon revealed itself in a sleek
silver can adorned with basic black as the favorite for its
classic Pinot notes of berries, medium tannins, and earthy
hints.
While the divas will continue to purchase most of their
wines in bottles, a few cans will likely show up at the
beach, on the boat, or at a barbecue this summer.
Cheers!
