By Sheryl Popp Special to Conley Media When Heather Moore says her studio creates and teach- es all artistic mediums, she is not exaggerating. "If someone is interested in learning something I'm not personally skilled at," she said, "then I'll find someone who is to conduct a class." Heather opened her studio in early January. It's tucked away in one of the rear spaces of a cream city brick building on S. 6th Ave. which houses other small businesses. For someplace so unassuming, the business hit the ground running and Heather is already extreme- ly busy. "I'm always here," she said. "There is almost always something going on." She began "dabbling"again, but eventually found that she needed something more, out- side her home. "I was literal- ly running out of work- space," she said. "I talked to friends and looked around this area. I didn't want to be anyplace else but down- town." While she spent some time reconfiguring her new space, she began networking on social media and through work of mouth to attract April 2019 • Daily News & News Graphic • EXPLORING THE ARTS • 7 147 North Rural Street • Hartford, WI • 262-673-7999 www.wisconsinautomuseum.com Wisconsin Automotive Museum "Showcasing Transportation History" A striking art deco interior sets off over 110 autos and trucks on display, featuring Kissel, Nash, Studebaker, Ford, Chevrolet and more!
