Abele made the pronouncement in his State of the County address, delivered Monday at the municipal courtroom at the Oak Creek Police Department, during which he also said he would push to sell unneeded and unused buildings that could save the county $120 million over 20 years. The planned shift "is not the result of any incident, employee or concern regarding quality of care," he said. "This is about doing the right thing," Abele said. The group has long advocated for shifting to a community-based model of care that it contends is better for patients and more costeffective for the county .
