Feb. 19 through Feb. 28 Love a Bear Month Where: Cedarburg Public Library, W63 N589 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg Visit the Children's Room during February and view a variety of handmade Teddy bears sewn and named by retired teacher and long-term resident Mona Simpson. All of the bears are one-of-a-kind, made with love from recycled scraps and fabrics. They are part of her private collection. Additionally, illustrations by Peggy McDowell will be shown in Concordia's 14 Frames Gallery in a show, titled "Half Glue Gun Will Travel: Domestic Divas." A collaborative exhibition of works by Concordia University Wisconsin and Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design Interior Architecture and Design majors will take center stage in the Student Gallery through March 31.
