The film stars Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Joel Edgerton and follows the son of Baptist parents who is forced to take part in a gay conversion therapy program. Lecture Series – "Philosophers in the Midst of History" Time: 6 p.m. Where: Frank L. Weyenberg Library, 11345 N. Cedarburg Road, Mequon Over the course of this year, the lecture series will focus on examining the historical contexts in which thinkers like Epictetus, Thomas Aquinas, Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Simone de Beauvoir were writing in relation to their main ideas. The lecture series is recommended for adults and high school students. Each lecture will last about 60 minutes, with time for questions and answers following the lecture.
