PrettiBoiRoq has an empowering and uplifting story -- one grounding in over- coming challenges, and naysayers that said he had no talent. PrettiBoiRoq (born Cory Ray Tyn- dall; 31March, 1989) is an Ameri- can rapper, songwriter, model and actor. Born in New Bern, NC and raised in Pamlico County, NC, Cory moved to California at the age of 23 to pursue a career in hip hop music after struggling to find a platform in his home state, re- siding initially in Orange County, then to Los Angeles. He earned local recognition after performing original tracks and covers with an all male cabaret group called e Foxes. e November issue also features a return of Pride Journeys by Joey Amato. is wonderful series by Joey highlights the queer spots in many of our more renowned travel destinations. is month Joey takes us to Seattle.
